Deborah J. Carter has graced many international jazz festivals with her expressive vocals. Her concerts are well received for her warm stage presence, her eclectic repertoire, and above all, her vocal artistry. She carefully cherry-picks her songs and rearranges them in surprising and personal ways, using a broad variety of rhythmic influences.

Deborah also is a lyricist and composer herself. Besides working with her own group in concerts and festivals from Spain to Taiwan to Colombia, Deborah, is often invited to sing the great jazz classics as a guest soloist with orchestras such as the world famous Metropole Orchestra, the Frankfurt Radio Symphony Orchestra, The Orchestra and Bigband of the German Opera, Berlin.

Deborah grew up in Hawaii and Okinawa, and studied at Berklee, USA. Having spent many years in Spain, she now resides in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. Deborah J. Carter is available worldwide for concerts, tours and master classes.
